Published on March 8, 2011 by

We’ve been notified about an upcoming Indie developed game from David Molnar Productions on it’s upcoming title release for the iOS platform. Let’s take a closer look at what you can expect from this retro style space shooter.

From the first view of this game you can see that the visuals are clean plus make for some cool indie eye candy to bring it all together you get awesome side scrolling classic game play. The perfect fit for the iOS device of your choice.

Interstellar Force might look like a basic shooter at first glance, but, as you’ll see in the video below this game is quite the space shooter, offering you a nice amount of features wrapped up in a small package.

FEATURES:
Multiple Levels – each set at a different location with georgeous multilayer parallax scrolling backgrounds.

Weapon Upgrades – Triax Cannon, Laser Array, Plasma Electro-Cannon, and more…

Rechargable Shields and Reloadable Bomb Inventory (In Game).

Enemies – Lots of ‘em and many different types to keep you busy, very very busy!

Controls – Both Tilt and Virtual Joystice (with optional autofire)

Openfeint Integration – Openfeint Leaderboards and Achievements as well as the Openfeint community.

Check out the official game play trailer below

One of our favorite features of the game is not actually a game play element, it’s actually just a visual queue from our gaming past. The fact that you can play a level in the all holy PIXELATED graphic form is a true pleasure and pays homage to our gaming heritage, we appreciate it.

In alignment to our beliefs and true to heart support for all of our Independent Games Developers, we urge you (our fans) to please help and get the word out to your friends and families that might happen to own any iDevice be it an iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch to seek out Interstellar Force on the iTunes App Store come this MARCH 10th 2011.
