Early Screens hit Google+ and abroad On Codemasters Browser Based Racer: F1 Online: The Game

While on Google+ today we came across a post from Bevan Davies from Codemasters expressing his excitement of being able to talk or show off some screen shots that the team has been working on.

Here’s what Bevan Davies had to say in the comments:
“It is great to finally be able to talk about the game that I’ve been working on for several months.

Here are some screenshots from the game, F1 Online: The Game runs in a browser using the Unity plugin to provide high quality 3D graphics.”

“We’re developing the game in-house here at the Codies HQ. To ensure we get the best quality possible we’re also using art assets and track data from the main F1 2011 console game.

These are in-game screenshots, the car shots are from the menu screen and the top-down view is the actual race. I would expect them to improve a bit as well, this is really early screenshots.”

The game is launching very soon, but, you can go sign up at the official site right now, so don’t wait to get in on the action.

Now the Screens:
