“Headcase Games releases Strategy Guide for 180

Los Angeles, CA, August 22, 2011 – Headcase Games, is celebrating their recent hi-profile promotion with several partners by releasing a free online strategy guide for their hit multi-platform application 180.

Originally released in 2010, the game was given an HD overhaul and rebuilt for the Android platform in 2011, where it has seen much success and several hundreds of thousands of downloads in just a few short months. As the trend continues, we wanted to give back to the community who put us on the map and have put together a special online guide which details the nuts and bolts of their unique and critically successful game.

Recently featured in several very high-profile markets across the mobile gaming landscape (iTunes, Amazon App Store, Nook Color, The9, more to come shortly), 180 is a manic twitch-game disguised as a casual puzzler. It recalls the classic game play of titles such as Tetris Attack and Bejeweled while utilizing a fresh flipping mechanic. The player must prevent the screen from filling up with game pieces by shooting to connect 3 or more of the same color. Unique is the player’s ability to touch any game piece on the playfield and flip it over 180 degrees; each piece has a different color on either side. Once mastered, players can quickly flip and shoot to create complex chains and combos.

Secret bonuses, multiple game play modes, lively characters, and online OpenFeint leaderboards and achievements all add up to create an engaging game play experience.”
