Retro G.P. Featuring: Wonder Boy In Monster World On XBLA

Here we are again with the second installment of our three part Retro G.P. vidcast featuring the recently released classic collection by Sega on XBLA under the label Sega Vintage Collection Monster World. In today’s video Social Gamer plays about ten minutes of Wonder Boy In Monster World on the Sega Genesis via Xbox Live Arcade.

On today’s video your still the all mighty Wonder Boy and this time around the game has great looking visuals, music and amazing enemy design as well as animation. If you never played Wonder Boy in Monster World then your missing out on a great adventure. Your able to upgrade just about everything you can carry.

Your weapon, Armour, Shield and Boots all alter your abilities and your stats ranging from the damage you deal to the speed in which you move! Any way you play this game, you’ll be a bad ass by it’s end. All in all, OSJ highly recommends you either buy the original cart for the Sega Genesis or get the bundled download via Xbox Marketplace for a low price of 800 msp ($9.99).
