Cinematic INTROs Featuring The Sega Dreamcast Masterpiece Shenmue

Hello and welcome back to OSJ, my name is Jorge “Social Gamer” Murphy and I own Old School Junkie. I hope it’s been a pleasure for you visiting our small space on the net, where myself and a few contributors have been dedicated to bringing you some great retro and Indie original content. With that being said let’s see what we have for you today.
In today’s Cinematic INTROs, I connect the ole’ Sega Dreamcast and slap in none other than Shenmue…! This game is truly a game changing title that in all fare-ness, many current generation games haven’t even been able to match. Well, as far as world environment interaction is concerned.
I mean how many games allow you to actually look in closets or dress drawers and I don’t mean a button press, what I mean is, this all takes place in In-Game graphics. Imagine this, you see the closet and you have to open the door then you move in to get a closer look then you take your hand and sift through your selection and finally you actually grab the item you want.
Yes that deep, or see a home phone and pick up the handle and use your real fingers to dial each number not just push button A to use phone and select a number to call from a drop down screen or a virtual keypad. Shenmue never takes you out of the game, environment or story. Below we have both the quick title screen Cinematic INTRO along with the games opening Cinematic.
Keep It Retro..!
