Thank you for stopping by and checking out the ole’ site..! In today’s post we get one of the better attempts at streaming a dual live stream broadcast. Myself and fellow Twitch caster CheddarBobIsFNU play a bit of co-op in the classic brain twister Portal 2 on PC.
Hey guys, Social Gamer here with a new Live Stream video share. I’ve been able to get better and better at live streaming on TwitchTV, but I know I have more to learn.
As compared to the thousands of other super high production broadcasts, I’m chicken little.
As time moves forward I’ll be attempting to create a much better experience for my Twitch TV Channel followers. I would really like to add a more custom chat option.
At the very least, I’ll need to update the gaming cave to accommodate a clean stream with both cam, mic and game play like many of the popular streaming channels.
Here at OSJ, I hope to be that niche home on the net for simple and fun original content as well as a place for you to share different views on the gaming community abroad.
What I want to offer is opinions, reviews and game play videos that aren’t really mainstream titles. Old School Junkie prides it’s self as being self motivated and tries to
be different from the bias content creators that like to hate on consoles and games that they either don’t own or care to have an open mind about.
You won’t find a flashy website, no animations or graphics…little to no ads (only one or two) but never have pop-ups or information scanning affiliation
ad sponsors on the Old School Junkie website.
With that, I hope you continue to show your love for the Old School Junkie community and of course myself Jorge Murphy a.k.a. @TheSocialGamer…!

You can watch the original full 1080p Live stream on our Twitch TV Channel.
Hey friends, Social Gamer back here today with another great 15 Minutes of Game for you. In this video I run through a bit of the NOW cult classic Horror FPS title on the PC, DOOM 3: BFG Edition.
From a technical stand point, DOOM 3 still looks and plays great when considering that DOOM 3 came out way back in August of 2004 for the PC. This version was released much later though in October 16, 2012 which added a few advancements from the original release which included:
-Better sound with more horror effects
-A checkpoint save system
-Support for 3D displays.
Another being the most talked about was not being able to use your flashlight at the same time when your weapon was drawn. lol
Well here you go…..enjoy some FUll HD 1080p goodness of one of my favorite franchises of all time.
Social Gamer here with a game play video of the PC version of Daylight. After ignoring all of the doom and gloom reviews across the internet, I’ve finally decided to share a bit of game play while I talked about the game.
The game is a bit shallow but in my opinion, the game is setup to be just that. Don’t get the game to be blown away visually or even by the story. Just get the game if your looking to just enjoy a low budget title. 😉
I got the game for a low $9.99 from Steam but I do believe it’s back up to $14.99 already.
Still I like the game for what it is and I think that you’ll like it to if your into a slower paced game.

Hey everyone, Social Gamer here with a quick share. In the last 24 hrs I’ve been consumed by my ever favorite open world and western RPG Skyrim on the PC. What I’ve been messing is with a ton of mods via Steam’s Workshop. What you see below are Maxed out settings in 1080p screenshots.
One thing I have to say…..With these visuals, I’m always exploring and getting lost in forests and caves just to see what goodies I can come across.
